While it is not my favourite grocery shop in the area, there are few things I really value about Budgens. You can find some delicacies that are not available in other stores (Italian and Spanish mostly), they store a lot of Biona Canned organic food and they have a great choice of wine and beers.

Love this place. Staff and security are very very friendly, always allow the dog in. Cannot fault it at all.

Convenient store on the Highbury side of Upper Street. The post office inside is quite useful. Good selection of food and drinks.

Good local style supermarket. A bit dull in lighting and often shelves being stacked at busy times which makes shopping difficult.

It covers most of all daily essentials. Great for hot food on the go. Sundays open till 7pm it's a bonus.

Nicely stocked place. I was amazed with the variety of cheese. Felt like at home, haha. Prices were average compared to stores in the area. Very welcoming people working there. Had a nice conversation with the cashier. Nice lady.
