We throughly enjoyed brunch here, the food was great and the quality was great.
The way the food is presented is equally as great as it tastes.
There is a queue for getting in and they close a little sooner than expected (1500 from the last time I went)
Waiting time for food is standard (25/35) minis.
The only thing upon ordering hot drinks is that it is served with the food and not after, maybe that’s just how they do it here.
Customer service is great too, all staff are friendly and helpful.
Price is a little more than the average brunch place.
Wife came across this place on Instagram, so we decided to test it out on our trip to London.
Was worth the effort travelling from hotel in Poplar to Hackney.
Right in the centre of Mare st, not sure if it's a regular thing but on our visit, Only taking cash.
The setup and ambience was great. Breakfast choice was served quick and good portions with excellent flavours. Vine tomatoes and mushroom, very juicy and tender.
The halal options are appreciated, and the staff and management very friendly.
Would recommend a visit if your in London.
I had to queue for a bit before getting in and I must say this place is worth the wait. The food was SO DELICIOUS!!!!! I will definitely come back again. The customer service was great!!! Very attentive staff! I will definitely come back for brunch here anytime!! I really enjoyed my food. I was so full and happy😋😋😭
Not every places serves breakfast all day but this place does. We got served everything we ordered considering we turned up very late. Their bar closes at around 5 so make sure if you are there to have tea, coffee or drinks then turn up earlier. Staffs were friendly, place was busy but these types of places always are. The wait was around 5-10 mins to be seated so it was fine. Food was nice and was priced accordingly considering the price hike of everything now a days. Seating arrangements and ambiance was fine. Everything on the menu was halal or could be turned halal.
Best experience in London hands down. Beautiful and filling brunch, large portions. Very good (I am from NZ and have high brunch standards). Food came fast. Coffee was good. Staff were kind and attentive. Highly recommend, we had a great time.
My girlfriend and I arrived later than 15:00, without a reservation.
We didn't wait long to be seated. The waiters were always very friendly from the first moment.
They took our order quickly and again very friendly. The food arrived without making us wait, and everything looked spectacular. We ordered 3 different dishes from the Brunch menu and everything was delicious, great! And although I am no expert, in my opinion everything was really good quality. We also ordered two coffees which were very good.
Finally when we said goodbye couple of the staff were interested to see if everything had gone well.
It really was a perfect service and I loooooved the food. I recommend it 100%. One of the best places I have been in recent years. I will be back in the future for sure. 5/5 👍
Had to wait 10-15 min outside as they were very busy. They had to open downstairs for us. Seating is spacious and comfortable. It's kids-friendly. Dishes are very generous. We couldn't finish ours, even after sharing! If you like variety then order the Mediterranean dish. If you like sweet taste with your food then order the chicken & waffle dish. The waiter that served us was absolutely amazing and friendly. Can't say the same for the others. They just don't know how to best talk to customers about allergies without using trigger words. They couldn't even serve chips to one of us due to fear of cross-contamination with other products. Overall, it's a busy place, food will get 4/5, service 3.5, atmosphere will get 4/5.
LOVED IT. Halal brunch spot🫶🏻. The aesthetics were spot on. Got the full shebang and the chicken waffles. The waffle was just way too sweet for the chicken and didn’t love the dough. Got the salted caramel latte was really good, you’d enjoy it. Overall nice experience.
Such a cute place, pink chairs, flowers and even tissues were pink. I liked the vibe and the fact that they have halal version for everything. Really cool place to go for brunch with friends or a girls day out. They were super busy but still friendly. My breakfast was good.
4 stars because they did not allow me to order from kids menu :/
It didn't disappoint!
Great service, tasty food, beautifully presented, the Waffles were ON POINT! There were no queues... for a Friday afternoon we were lucky, and we also got a nice Alfresco table.
The only downside was that the Waffles, Brioche & Pancakes were not on the 'Extras' list, hopefully they'll add those at some point. This little spot is now a firm fav.
