Lovely restaurant, staff is super nice and welcoming. Portions are generous, quality is excellent and prices are reasonable. If I may make an observation, the rosè wine was not chill enough and the bread had butter melt on it (we would expect oil), but I genuinely don’t know, maybe that is the right way to serve that bread. Overall, I wish there were more of these authentic, genuine and cosy restaurants with such great food in London! Thank you for the great experience!

The food is delicious and all the staff are very friendly and attentive. Their sesame bread coated in ghee butter or olive oil is absolutely to die for. Love the portion sizes and the quality of the food. There were three of us, and we had a great time in Khuttar. We will return and highly recommend others to do the same.

We were a very large group and we had a fantastic meal. The lamb dishes were delicious, with tender meat and really nice sauces. The bread was fresh and really tasty. We ordered lots of food and the price was very reasonable.

I absolutely love this restaurant! Great service , and great food- delicious and good portions. The owner is also lovely. You receive complimentary lentil soup with bread and Hummus to begin your meal. Additionally, at the end, you receive complimentary tea and baklava. I’ve been here multiple times, and the service is always the same fantastic place definitely come and visit.

Best max grill, very fresh Hummus with amazing size homemade bread. I ordered max grill course sharing for 2 and two starters: hummus and salad. All were delicious. Welcoming soup and bread were impressive! Good service. The staff didn’t push us to leave. I enjoyed this dinner with my friend. 10/10 highly recommended!

So lovely! The restaurant is decorated with Iraqi style paintings and the vibe is so nice. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Both the chef and the server were very nice. The food was delicious and authentic. They served us complimentary soup, appetisers, tea and baklava. A true gem and must visit for anyone who wants an authentic Iraqi experience.

Went alone as a business traveler and the staff was very warm and welcoming. Enjoyed their lamb kebab and salad which was freshly prepared and delicious. Also ordered a yogurt drink which was refreshing! They served soup, hummus as and appetizers well as tea after the meal on the house. Definitely recommend for anyone staying in the paddington area. Will go again.

Excellent food and service! The restaurant setting is simple, so you wonder whether you should try, but after giving it a shot you are amazed!! The decoration is also interesting, it’s very regional and original.

An absolute must visit if staying in Paddington. It's not posh but tastes pretty authentic and the atmosphere is homely. There appears to be some similar flavours to Persian food for those having never tried Iraqi food (this was our first time). We had a cardamom tea, salad that tasted fresh with a lovely mild pomegranate and olive oil dressing, hummus, falafel, and freshly home made flatbread that came with beautiful toasted sesame on it to start. And for mains, a mixed grill for 2 (this was amazing) and mixed kebab and tried to share it between 4 people. You will see from the pictures this is too much 🤭 Wish we had room for dessert! I have seen some complaints about level of service, but just remember what part of town you are in and also that it is a small business. As far as I can tell only one person running front of house for the entire restaurant and we found her lovely.
