Large portions of delicious, tender fish. Great prices and helpful staff. Multiple types of fish available. Found fries to be soggy and surface area/volume ratio was too low (fries were too fat).

Very nice people, always with a smile on their face, really kind and friendly. Quick service and very good food. I always enjoy going there. It is quite close to where I study.
Last time I went I left my purse there by mistake and they kept it safe for me until I returned to collect it. A massive thank you!

Really impressed by this fantastic little fish & chips shop in Holborn!
I stumbled across this place whilst waiting for a bus in the rain the bus stop towards Oxford Circus is right next door.
Given the location the reasonably priced £1.50 regular small portion of delicious chips were made with quality potatoes not tasteless ones, they were fantastic chips (I'm picky with mine so trust me these were fab) & a surprise given everything is so expensive in central London these days. The guy who served me was polite and well mannered & I didn't even have to ask for a fork or napkin. Total thumbs up I will be back for a sit down meal next time I'm in the area 👌🏼 Thank you Alen's fish & Chips !

The first time I have ever tried British fish n chips. they were very nice! fresh cod and the batter was nice as well as the chips with a real potato taste as chips should have, also a pleasant place to eat inside
