Lovely little pub with a garden tucked away in N1. Great vibe with a young crowd and ample seating.

I had the pork Sunday roast and a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. All in all, the roast was okay. Unfortunately, it's a little bland for my taste. A little salt and pepper helped a long way. What I couldn’t change was the temperature. Upon arrival, my plate was quite cold. I saw the steam coming from my food, so surely the food wouldn’t be cold. The meat and some veggies were warm, but the whole dish quickly became cold. The potatoes were cold and dry, too. I wholeheartedly recommend the sticky toffee pudding. It was very delicious and not too sweet. The plate and the dessert were pleasantly warm. The service was fantastic, all around a pleasant crew.

Great pub and a good mix in terms of the crowd. Would also say one of the top places in the area to watch sports. Good selection of pints. Big Arsenal following here - a real local watering-hole.

Scolt head is always busy! In a good way, if you enjoy a busy atmosphere to socialise in it's great on the weekends and after work. But generally during the day it's quite calm. There's variety for everyone. My particular review is based specifically on the Sunday roast. The food was ok, I had a roast beef which had all the trimmings, The only criticism is that they should think about keeping the gravy separately, otherwise everything just gets soggy when you want some items crispy. I still prefer Sunday roast at Hunter S, which is the opposite end of Ardleigh road

Incredibly genuine neighborhood pub off the beaten path. Quiet and chill with nice beer selection. The fish and chips were total perfection and the wings with Scotch bonnet sauce are not to be missed! Treats for out friends dog was a huge bonus.

Great pub great atmosphere, the beer garden is small but full of charm. Nice selection of local beers. Prices are a bit steep but that's expected in Hackney.

The Sunday roast was the best I've ever had eaten, Good portion sizes cooked to perfection. Well worth the money. Would definitely recommend this pub for a family or friends gathering. Will definitely be going back for another Sunday roast.

Came here for a Sunday roast. I had the vegetarian mushroom wellington and my partner had the lamb. We both enjoyed our meals and the overall vibe. The weather was really nice so we were able to comfortably eat in the garden. The sticky toffee pudding was also amazing. It's nice to find a good veg Sunday roast that isn't boring. I believe there was a vegan roast as well. Friendly staff as well and solid beer selection - even had multiple non-alcoholic beer options.
