My husband and I dropped in here around 7:30 p.m. this evening. We were a little hesitant because it's a small establishment, and my husband is not a fan of Indian food, so we weren't sure we would find anything on the menu for him. However, we are so glad we gave it a try. We both loved it! Where else can you get real Indian food and a classic burger and fries at the same spot? Also, as a vegetarian, I found several different options on the menu. I chose the mixed vegetables biriyani, and it was delicious. The young gentleman running the place was very helpful regarding answering my questions about the menu choices. He also checked back to make sure we both liked our food. And the prices are so reasonable. We would love to take this little gem back to the States with us! Highly recommend!
Me and my mate just happened to find the place while working around the corner. We went there for lunch and we had took the special deal lamb and chicken curry (they ask u if u how you want it based on your spice level) with naan for 12£ each. It was the best £12 I have spent as the food was absolutely spicy and delicious and I wanted to eat more but unfortunately had to get back to work. They have a clean toilet and great seating area. The owner who was working there was very kind and engaging and he gave us a free naan on the house 😋 Overall I would definitely recommend coming here 💯
I have been eating here regularly for over a year now. The owner kept original prices for so long during the inflation of 2022 and early 2023 and only recently put up the prices. I still believe the prices are good and continue to eat here. I have 1/4 chicken with plain rice, potato wedges and a drink for £10. A receipt is printed every time an order is paid. There's a £20 minimum order condition for card payments. For orders below £20 bring cash. Prices are same to eat in or take away. Friendly owner, clean premises. Halal.
At Royal Kitchen, you can enjoy both fast food and Indian cuisine. The service is quick, and the quality is excellent. The prices are reasonable as well.

Great food warm welcome one of the best lower budget eateries in the area. You can get 2 meals without breaking a 10 pound note. Pretty decent choice on the menu for food and drinks is always fresh and the food is so tasty I've ate here several times. Highly recommended. Good location too directly opposite aldgate station.

Been coming to this fine establishment for just over 3 years in a regular basis, I cannot believe I’ve never once left a review.
There is many negative reviews below, what people do not understand is that you pay for what you get. You need to understand why the prices are high, it’s for the fact that the cost of living has gone up along with annual inflation. Then there is overheads etc…..
So anyhow the food and customer service here is one of the best within The City, yes there are times when something is not right but it is easily compensated by the management and that’s part of everyday genuine human mistake which they genuinely apologise for.
As for wheelchair users like me, the whole restaurant is accessible and they do have a toilet too. Only issue might be a tight squeeze though if my bigger than normal prescription wheelchair fits in then yours too may.
