Always friendly, relaxed and enjoyable. Food great, the brunch here at the weekends is great and family friendly even though it's a pub. Would recommend to anyone wanted a good brunch or lunch in Wimbledon.

The nicest restaurant I've been to in quite a while! Lovely staff, AMAZING food served in perfect portion size, and the best tasting fresh orange juice I've ever had out. Will definitely come back at some point.

A regular haunt for local offices for a cheeky friday night drink and the place is always bustling. With live music, normally priced drinks and bar-tenders that seem to understand the need to chill out after a busy week - this place is definitely a must visit!

I've personally never eaten here in the week, but have heard very good things about the food.

Also - it's Dog Friendly - and that really adds to the atmosphere :)

A nice addition to Wimbledon. The Old Frizzle is part of a chain of a handful of pubs across South West London and opened in Wimbledon earlier this summer.

Given that the building used to be a Walkabout, I was a little apprehensive about going in, let alone ordering food. I know it sounds ridiculous but I wasn't sure what to expect - the name reminds me of a student bar - but it turns out I needn't have worried.

There's a varied menu which is reasonably priced. I had a pot roast chicken breast with imam bayildi (stuffed aubergine, although to be honest it was more like ratatouille) and rice. It was a good sized portion, well cooked and the bayildi had a nice depth of flavour.

My friend had a cheeseburger which came medium rare. His chips were hotter than the sun (not a bad thing) and it got no complaints.

We didn't have dessert as they were all a bit stodgy - crumbles, brownies, sticky toffee pudding and so on - so didn't appeal, but I wouldn't mind returning another time to try the crumble with cornflake ice cream.

Our waitress was very friendly and the service was prompt.

I would definitely go back and given the culinary wasteland that is Wimbledon Broadway, it is a welcome addition.

I love the urban cool of The Old Frizzle. Outside it is decked out in fairy lights and inside there are vintage style lampshades and old books.

It has a great atmosphere and has good facilities for watching sport games. When I went there to watch the Grand National, they were giving out free popcorn, which is a nice touch!

However, on one occasion I made the mistake of ordering a pitcher of Pimms. It was mainly made up of ice and we felt a bit cheated.

The atmosphere is nice and quiet inside the pub, the lighting is comfortable. There is also outdoor seating. The food is delicious and the service is great, the staff are always helpful and have smiles on their faces. They have live music every Friday and Saturday night, quiz night is on Sunday.

Live music on Friday night! (The performer sang a variety of songs from many different artists). The bar took a long time to serve us because it was very busy, but even that, we managed to get a table without booking. Nice lively atmosphere. Bring ID to get in. We didn’t eat but the drinks were reasonable.

£21 for a very filling roast dinner (triple meat) with horseradish sauce that wonderfully takes the roof of your mouth off - yum. The Mediterranean Salad was also fantastic with lots and lots of juicy grilled chicken.

Lovely pub in beautiful Wimbledon. I've been attending the pub quiz there for two years. They have a nice selection of alcoholic or alcohol free options, an excellent vegan burger. Last Sunday after a really nice chat with a waiter (Alfie) I realized I've never written a review. They have a hall with big screens for support events as well. The place is literally across the road from the New Wimbledon Theater, so very convincing for a pit stop before or after a musical or a play.

Ella and Astrid were absolutely phenomenal staff that were so welcoming and hospitable, all drinks and food came out in perfect time and I had to ask their names to make sure to include them in this review. Will be returning with my family next week! Look forward to coming back!

We booked a table for 6pm and were offered to open a tab by a member of the wonderful floor staff named Aron. As a table of bartenders/ floor staff ourselves we were extremely impressed by the attentiveness he showed us and the speed of the drinks and service he delivered. Safe to say we will be coming back because of him! Wonderful evening, thank you Aron!

Popped in with the gf in the off chance to watch the football, as it turns out they’d got 4 massive screens in the back so you can see from everywhere! We ordered food through the QR code and everything was fine, nibbles were great and I’d highly recommend the place, shame about the football 😂
