A wonderful Sunday roast here! The food was fantastic- incredible gravy🫶🏼
Would definitely recommend getting in early as the roasts will run out! I wanted beef but was very happy with the chicken.
The desserts are also a must, our party would recommend the ginger cake the most! Although I had the crumble and it was so very good.

Harry was phenomenal with his knowledge regarding allergies and made me feel very confident that my needs were being catered for. He was very informative and mentioned all aspects of how my meal would be prepared gluten free. The food was great, I had a burger and my partner had the same with a mac and cheese on the side and admitted it could be one of the best! Although every roast that went past looked very nice.
The pub in itself is very laid back and has a nice chilled vibe with soft music playing in the background.

A truly wonderful experience! Had a delicious lunch here. Perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. The waitress was friendly. There was a small hiccup with our order, but that was sorted out fairly quickly. The restaurant is beautiful both inside and outside. It really depends on the atmosphere you want.

stylish and cozy inside, beautiful outside - everything is green and in flowers. The menu is very different and interesting. The food is not wow, but normal. Only a very long wait for the order.
First time visiting but won't be the last! Beautiful pub right on the heath. Atmosphere, was very welcoming and loved the beer garden.
Excellent service from Harry, who was very attentive and gave some great recommendations.
The food was really tasty. My partner and I, had the fillet steak, which melted in our mouths.

Had a wonderful evening here after a long day of work. Beer was excellent, enjoyed the cheeseburger and the place was beautifully decorated - love the garden. Dog friendly! Best service from Logan, she was so nice, personable, gave recommendations for the menu, very kind and caring mannerism, attentive to our needs and concerns, very bubbly and fun personality!
The perfect pub for a Sunday roast. There is a very cozy atmosphere inside for those rainy afternoons and a gorgeous large outdoor patio for when the sun shows it’s face. The food is tasty with generous helpings, the drinks list is varied, and the service was very attentive without being overbearing. I got the chicken pie which was not too big but rich and filling. This is kind of place I would love to call my local.
This is a fab pub in a great location. Short walk to Greenwich park too.
It's been a while since I've had a roast at The Princess of Wales but it's as good as I remember. One bit if advice is book early and go early, they do begin to sell out pretty fast, we had a sitting at 3pm and items had started to run low. More bad planning on my part but thr menu also warns of limited availability.
Lovely staff, super helpful and friendly and everything was decently priced. It's always been a nice pub to visit if only for drinks but the food is 10/10 too. It's dog friendly which is great.
