Brilliant pub. Had always wanted to visit this pub as I'd seen it in tv shows and movies of the 1970s
Great beer food and atmosphere. Perfect place to meet friends before the madness of cricket at Lord's

I found myself wondering around Maida Vale after the Carnival in Notting Hill and decided to give this place a go. The interior, divided in a more posh section on the front and a saloon area at the back, near the garden, is quite elegant and the prices match the area. The staff is highly efficient and friendly and the food well presented, of high quality and we'll prepared. I decided to give a try to a couple of nibbles from the bar menu, a vegetables tempura and triple fried chips, and have been pleasantly surprised by the perfectly crispy and not too oily batter for the tempura and the tasty chips. There are some staff members that need to improve but all in all is a nice place to go to if in this part of London.
Great atmosphere. Visited here whilst in London for a few days. Husband and I sat at the bar on a busy Friday night. Atmosphere was great, bar staff were excellent. They were friendly and knowledgeable. This place has a great wine list. We ate appetizers at the bar. Didn't go upstairs to look at the restaurant. Would definately go back. Took a cab back to our hotel after an excellent night out at the pub and my American husband got the "pub atmosphere".
Loved it! Great London pub atmosphere downstairs, gourmet restaurant upstairs. Oysters amazing!
Loved it!. It is hidden inside the Warrington Hotel. But this was a great meal... Very elegant. Don't forget to try the Banana Bread beer!!!!
...I fully intend to come back to The Warrington and order two of everything, and four of the Scotch egg, especially as these days almost everything is made in-house
Fantastic place. My wife and I tend to choose this place for most outings in the Maida Vale area - we've taken multiple guest there and they love it. The food selection is expansive and good value - particularly the Sunday Roast. The place is always buzzing, particularly outside when the weather is warm. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone who's in the Maida Vale/ Little Venice / St. Johns Wood area.
It says a lot about a gastropub when the umbrellas in the beer garden have Bollinger logos on them rather than Fosters or Kronenberg: welcome to the Warrington. Step inside and the interior is gorgeous, possibly the nicest I've seen in a pub: high ceilings, art deco cornices and a generally wonderful ambience. There's a nice selection of drinks at the bar, and the food downstairs is delicious: getting a selection of bar snacks to share is a great choice, in particular the homemade scotch eggs are to die for. Upstairs there's an a la carte dining room which offers a more refined dining experience, but it's easier to just stay downstairs where there's also great food for a more reasonable price. Go on Sundays for a spectacular roast.
Excellent place with even better people. Sharon and Nathan took us in and went above and beyond to take care of us when our other hotel booking fell through. They are genuinely great people who care about taking care of their hotel guests. The room was luxurious compared to all of the other places we stayed in the UK. Then there was the pub downstairs, which was a nice place to hang out and have a few drinks in the evenings. They have a very nice barmaid named Erin who was very friendly and helpful to us. Overall, highly recommend to anyone that needs a place to stay or drink in the area.
The Warrington Hotel is full of charm and amazing staff. We were blessed to have Nathan check us in and go above and beyond for us during our vacation. The food is excellent and the drinks are even better. It would be a shame to miss out on staying at the Warrington Hotel where they truly care about residents. Many heartfelt thanks to Nathan and staff!!!
Over all the bartenders were very nice and welcoming provided good service. However, I was waiting to be served I noticed one lady with a lip piercing wasn’t doing anything as customer were waiting not aware of her surroundings. Not acceptable in my opinion on a busy hot day.
What a venue! Very impressive looking bar that replicates a hot-air balloon. The decor generally gave my Phineas Fog vibes. Has a private function room and outside space to soak up the sun. Staff were all lovely, food was a little disappointing, and the drinks were all in plastic, which is never ideal.
Still definitely recommend as a place to hang out, lovely atmosphere.
Nice pub with a fantastic old-school interior. Doesn't feel like a chain pub at all which is a big plus for me, nice cask ale and staff were friendly and quick even during a busy period at the bar. Nice outdoor space too which would be good for a meal with kids during a summer day
One of my favourite pubs in London. Brilliant in both summer and winter. The draught lagers are served super cold which is rare to find in London.
Food is incredible, great service, spectacular decor.
But dude, what is going on with the grouting in the toilets. An absolute shambles. I find myself wondering whether the tiler was high on lsd or going through a rocky divorce.
Bad grout = bad vibes
Lovely old decoration and good atmosphere. Service fair and had live music when we visited (a little mediocre). Fairly good value and overall pleasant experience.
Beer availability was low. The pub itself is immense, unique, historic. I come back as often as I can .... a gem.
Was an amazing lovely and full of life with the perfect selection of drinks can’t fault the place or staff one bit
