An eatery offering Malaysian as well as English fares. Was already looking for some Malaysian food after more than 10 days eating western food 🤗🤗🤗 Great location near the undergrounds and plenty of hotels nearby. The teh tarik was good, satisfies the craving for some good old Malaysian style tea rather than the coffee coffee coffee. The nasi lemak tastes authentic enough despite the cook and servers don’t look Malaysian 🤗🤗🤗 Its pretty small place with limited seats and can be quite crowded when there are more than 3 person in queue.

We were pleasantly surprised with this restaurant; their new restaurant is opposite khans. 177-179 queensway. They took over a churros restaurant. We tried the char kuey teow and mee goreng mamak. There is also nasi kandar, the curry was delicious, just like in penang. Breakfast menu is typical english breakfast plus malaysian fare of roti canai and murtabak. Roti nutella is also on the menu. The service was fast. Will definitely return. i gave less one star because the teh tarik was a premix.

Wish we could have stopped here more often during our stay, the food is delicious! The standard full English breakfast was exactly what we were looking for since it was our first time in London. The coffee was delicious as well. They accept cash and major credit cards. The baked good they had were also amazing!! We also purchased subs to go for our touristy travels. 🙌🏼

If you like your foods microwaved, this place is ideal. It’s technically a halal sandwich shop serving English fry ups as well as some Malaysian classics like nasi lemak.

Good array of curries with rice but my chicken curry was a meagre portion at £6.50. On another occasion tried the nasi lemak - it's not like what was advertised in the photo on the menu, chicken was dry+hard. Restaurant seating could be improved. Steps are a trip hazard, esp during wet weather. Little details spoil a good meal here

Rude staff. Walked in here intending to settle down for an early dinner. I had to run to the bathroom first though, and when I came out the waitress was smirking at me and snarkily asked if I was just using their bathroom. No... I like Malaysian food. We sat down, after being told that there were two menus and one was incorrect and "for the other place" despite having the exact same name (?). Looking at the menu, very little looked Malaysian and nothing Malaysian was vegetarian, so, feeling bad about wasting anyone's time, we decided to leave (we are not eating meat this month). I decided to order a coffee I didn't need to be polite - 2.50. Oh, but minimum payment of 5 quid for card - okay, let's add a tea. Brought it to 4.60. Waitress smirked at me again - wouldn't take the card payment. As we didn't have cash, nor did we want to spend more than 5 quid to be polite, especially given how unfriendly they were, we left. My Malaysian friend with me was very disappointed. Malaysian people are usually very friendly, though with the staff here being more like Southern European it figures.
