Went for a quick lunch on market shopping tour and surprise, enjoyed a 50% off promotion on the meals due every Tuesday., cutting down the Cheeseburger to £7 (!!) . The Burger (Cheese & Fried Chicken) were still perfectly fine and in generous portions. A clear "go" for the Bedford.

We went to this pub for a comedy night - the comedy was fantastic and well worth it! I'd recommend the comedy. The food was lovely too! The main let down was the service at the bar. 10min wait each time you want a drink. But I would definitely go back!

Visited this venue to see Ann Cusack Sings the Blues. Had a great night out. Service was excellent too. Never ate here, hope to do so next time.

Son's favourite local pub - with good reason. Good selection of drinks (get some Irish whiskey) and well presented food - the nachos is a good choice, had all the flavours - recommended.

Came last Friday before my son's wedding ( we also booked 2 nights at the hotel). The service was dreadful. After waiting 90mns,the food finally arrived. Nothing special.... We have to ask for extra sauces. Another 5mns wait. The only thing I can say is that the food for the wedding was very nice (thanks God for that),and also the hotel room was lovely. Overall, avoid the pub food.... My score reflects only the experience for Friday evening.

Thank you so much to the team at the Bedford! We had our wedding here at the weekend and cannot praise The Bedford highly enough. Anne in the events team was so kind and helpful throughout the wedding planning process and the team running our event on the day were fantastic. Everything went so smoothly and all our wedding guests complimented our choice of venue. The food and service was excellent and the hotel rooms were clean, comfy and stylish too! We highly recommend The Bedford if you are looking for a more relaxed, informal wedding venue!

Had a few pints here in early August on a Friday afternoon. Wanted to view the function rooms but all were in use or getting used. Very quiet. Drinks are above average. Didn't eat but the menu was available on tables.

This is a good pub with a really good atmosphere... but it's so frustrating, and it may have been an off night, but the Guinness was very bad. Really, really bad. To be fair, it's not the only one. How do pubs in London get it so wrong? Learn how to do Guinness that doesn't taste tangy. Other than that, it's a cracking pub! The Bedford is located a few minutes from the tube station in Balham. It's an area that isn't for everyone, but this is certainly one of the best pubs in the area.

Best value for money, most gorgeous steak in London: the sweet potato fries swap, a personal favourite. Wipe your sticky tables guys - otherwise a relaxed, choice venue.

A 2 minute walk from Balham Station, this venue serves a very filling Sunday Roast, amongst other dishes. Had the pleasure of being entertained by the fabulous Vincent Dunn Orchestra in the function room at the rear of the pub. Would definitely go again.
