My visit to Max Snack Bar was a delightful surprise! The food was superb, and the service was incredibly fast. The staff's kindness added to the wonderful experience, and the portions were both generous and well-presented. Highly recommend!

Very tasty food for cheap prices. I enjoy the bacalhau and chicken. They serve Superbock and Sagres draught. Superbock is one of my favourite lagers and quite hard to find on tap!

I ordered a cooked sandwich, coffee and 4 cakes. Then I sheepishly mentioned that my train was in 8 minutes.
I was provided with great food and drink in 5 mins, all served with a smile.

I love this place. It feels homely and I like their little snacks and cakes.

Friendly place opposite Brixton Recreation Centre with Portuguese cakes and pastries, plus Portuguese savoury snacks including seafood salad. Also lunches and English breakfasts. Nice coffee, wide selection of teas, Portuguese beer. One of the few long established, well loved Brixton businesses that survived Network Rail's so-called 'regeneration'.
