Service was lack lustre, but we did go at the end of the day which is maybe a valid excuse. We bought a steak and chips and two cans of coke which came to around £19. The steak was nicely seasoned and tasty as were the chips. I shared with my son who likes it plain. Had we had it covered in a sauce I think I’d have liked it even more. All in all a nice steak and chips you can eat on the go!

I have never tried 3D printed, vegan meat before, so I was intrigued. The staff was really friendly and the "steak" was slowly and carefully cooked, so it had time to develope a nice crust. The vegan steak was made out of pea protein. Because it was printed (it's not printed in the shop, they buy it and prepare it for you), it had a much better texture than the vegan options I tried before. It was definitely streaky and had a meat like chew to it. The outside was a bit more crispy than a regular steak- which I enjoyed- because it was pea protein. But what about the taste? It does have some umami taste and it's juicy enough. There is still a difference to regular meat, but if you're a vegan who's craving steak, this might satisfy you. The price is a bit hefty (20£), but you'll get a very meat-like experience with super friendly staff. I tried mine with slaw, which was super crunchy. If you're a garlic lover, you can go for the garlic butter. It has a sharp and veeeery garlicky flavor!
