Efficient and friendly staff for my takeaway. Everything was packed nicely, nothing spilled. They also gave yellow chutney, tamarind chutney, red onion and fried green chillies with my order. Masal chai was the best.
Had the Tikki Pav burger and Samosa chaat today, both tasted great, full of flavour. I highly recommend this place, vegetarian friendly, great service, reasonably priced and the people working there are so friendly and accommodating. For me personally, best place to eat if you’re on Green street. I will surely be coming back. Thank you!

Friends had mentioned this place and for a while I had wanted to check it out.. I finally managed to have the pleasure of popping in the other day. There was a selection of lovely home cooked food. Just the whole experience of being at Mona's made me feel as though I was in India (a good thing). The service was excellent and we were offered to sample a few items before buying. The stuffed green chillies were just like my mum used to make them. This place is certainly yet another jewel in East London's crown, tucked away on a side road just off popular Green Street - Upton park. I've added Mona's as one of my 'go to' places for the real home cooked Indian cuisine experience and highly recommend this establishment.
