River's Bar & Grill

It's the first time i have eaten at this little Caribbean restaurant on Anerley Hill. I went there because I had passed the restaurant before and smelt wonderful aromas coming from the kitchen! So I made a point of visiting. And the food flavours did not disappoint! Freshly made authentic Caribbean food. Curried Goat, Oxtail, Rice n Peas, Festival Dumplings. This is a lovely little place that is worth supporting in the local area! They also do Deliveroo and Just Eat under the name Garvey's Caribbean! The only disappointment with this restaurant is the fact that they could do a little bit more to update the decor in the restaurant, which is a little shabby... If it weren't for the outdated decor, i would have given this place 5 Stars! But it did not stop me or my friend from enjoying our meal thoroughly! Plus the place was very clean, which is more important than pretty!!! Our waitress Marley was also great! Good service, friendly and not overbearing. Plus she was ready to give good advice about different dishes. We will definitely return to this lovely little place! Thanks Rivers!!!
