Been meaning to try this place for a while, so decided to pick up a takeaway lunch today. Really pleased I did. I chose the Chicken Shawarma lunch deal with rice. Very tasty and freshly cooked, well presented and a generous portion size. Very friendly staff, clean and nicely decorated interior. Will definitely be back, but will dine in next time!

I went to ROOTS as 2 of my friends spoke very highly of this labanese restaurant. I ordered a Mix Grill with wings as I heard their wings are very nice. The wings were absolutely delicious 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 as well as the rest of the meat. Everything was sizzling hot and everything had a nice taste. The pitter bread that came with the mix grill was nice and soft and had a nice little filling inside which contained onions. I had a Roots passion fruit Martini cocktail which was really good. However there was no sign of a passion fruit inside my cocktail! 🤦🏽‍♀️😩. It looked like I had Fanta inside my cocktail glass with a few ice cubes lol 🤦🏽‍♀️. At £9.50 I would have expected my cocktail to look a bit more like a cocktail ☺️. The customer service was good, and the lady even came back over to ask if our cocktail was ok & if we wanted another one. Overall I was very impressed with the food. I will definitely be visiting again! I think ROOTS is a hidden gem in Streatham 😊. I would rate this place 9/10. The lady waiter has excellent customer service… 👌🏽

EXCELLENT! As someone who is half Lebanese and has lived in Lebanon, this is the best Lebanese restaurant I have been to in the UK. The food is authentic, delicious, fresh and so tasty. There's lots of choice, the restaurant interior is cosy and well decorated and the staff were very attentive and friendly. I can not recommend this restaurant enough, I will now be visiting on the regular.

We got the set menu for 4, which included a variety of mezze starters, two mixed grills, a bottle of house wine and some baklava. One of us was a vegetarian who was offered moussaka or a okra stew as an alternative, but as he didn’t like those options we were offered an alternative option to choose a couple of sides instead at no extra cost which was very kind. We also had someone in our party who had a nut allergy and they were very attentive to this. It was ALOT of food, so well worth the cost in my opinion! The bottle of wine was upgraded and we also got a free Lebanese coffee at the end which was a nice touch! Lovely flavours (especially the lemony chicken wings), great friendly service, perhaps one of the best I’ve experienced in a long time in London, and really cool decor inside. Will be visiting again as we live so close!

Nice classy Lebanese restaurant. Arguably the best Lunch Deal you can get in Streatham. A generous platter comprising of your choice of chicken, lamb, or falafel, accompanied by salad, fries, hummus, and bread for like 8 quid, absolute bargain, considering the quality of the food, which feels homemade and authentic to be fair. Chicken is nicely seasoned, falafel is fresh and moist. We tried some other dishes, and everything was on point. Could not recommend enough for either lunch or dinner.

Perfectly seasoned and chargilled Sea Bass along with beautifully crafted creamy chicken hummus, and a delicious side salad with garlic and Thai Chili dressing.sauces made up my perfect dinner at Roots Restaurant in Streatham Hill. The fish was exquisite with a blend wSyrian and Lebanese spices. My meal was complemented by a virgin Lemon and Mint Mojito. Delicious! The space is charming and casual. And the service is personable and efficient. I am visiting London from the United States and I have dined here twice! Do yourself and your tastebuds a favor and go experience this delightful dining experience.

I randomly stumbled across this place as I was going for my first date and it was absolutely stunning. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection, the service was great and they are extending the store which must mean they are very busy. I would definitely recommend. I loved the decor too. Oh and the spicy sauce
