Calici

We had an early dinner before theatre. The service was lovely, without being overbearing - and very understanding when parts of our group didn’t show up out of the blue. We ordered arrancini, grilled vegetables, pizza burrata, pizza piccante, ravioli, and pistachio ice-cream with everything being absolutely delicious. The in-house ice cream was the best I had outside of italy, an absolute treat.

This was possibly one of the nicest restaurants I've ever been to. The staff were friendly and very efficient, the food was outstanding and there was a good variety of drinks available. It was very expensive and there was no Lemonade which I thought was odd but we had a lovely evening and will definitely return

A bit cheeky… food was good, waiter friendly, prices reasonable… but they charge a 12.5 or 15% service charge (which is fine) but then when you pay by card have the ‘additional tip’ option open on the card reader to another default 15%… I think this is cheeky. One or the other guys. Left feeling like they had tried to get one over on me in case I wasn’t paying attention…

Went there to get some desserts at 10:00 PM, the service was immediately very welcoming and found us a spacious spot at the rooftop terrace. The ambiance is very cozy and chill, and the desserts were great! They would let us stay late at night since it's also an hotel, so we left around midnight. Perfect spot for sweet tooth late at night with friends.

We recently had a booking for six at Calici on a Saturday night and had a truly fantastic experience. Our evening started with a selection of antipasti, expertly and freshly prepared and bursting with flavour. The main courses, including a medium-rare tuna steak, two medium-rare and a medium tagliata, a Milanese dish, and a pizza picante, were cooked to perfection, showcasing the chef's skill and attention to detail. We were impressed! The dessert menu offered a variety of options, making it nearly impossible to go wrong. Each dessert we tried (Tiramisu, Cheesecake all pistachio and Tuttocioccolato) was a great combination of flavours and textures, providing a satisfying end to our meal. To complement our dining experience, we were presented with an excellent selection of wines, perfectly enhancing the flavours of our dishes. The service we received was superb, with attentive staff members. Their friendly and professional demeanour added an extra touch of warmth to the evening. We left the restaurant with a lasting positive impression, looking forward to our next visit, and we have no hesitation in recommending this place to our friends and guests.
