Wild Tavern

Had lunch at Wild Tavern with friends and it was everything one could wish for. The restaurant has a relaxed and cosy vibe, warm and inviting. Slightly rustic like a tavern indeed, but elevated to the Chelsea spirit. We followed our waiter’s recommendations and shared some exceptional dishes from the raw bar, starters and of course the homemade pasta. Tartares of kingfish and sicilian red prawns were superb: perfectly seasoned, with main ingredient being the king, just like it should be. Also loved their tortello with oxtail and paccheri with white fish & saffron. We couldn’t leave without trying cannoli - a slightly different take on one of my fav desserts, and what a delight! 10/10, will definitely come back.

What a great restaurant. It is intimate, cosy, service is relaxed yet on point and very friendly. The menu is sized right in terms of the number of dishes on it. We shared everything and finished with two great steaks. If you love food and wine, then Wild Tavern is the one. Will visit again soon enough!

So, was dining in my usual haunt at Publiq in Kensington and struck up a conversation with Mikie who was also dining at the bar. A suggestion was made that I try his bar/restaurant and I said I would. Best call ever..... I knew I had to try the scallop and the rack of lamb was calling to me. Matched the lamb with a nice Chianti and the chocolate mouse with a port. Totally magic. Do your taste buds a favour. Not the cheapest but somethings in life transcend money. Live a little, enjoyed a lot, carpe diem you won't regret.

Currently my favourite restaurant in London. The setting is wonderful, feels special. All the staff are super friendly and attentive. The food is amazing. Everything I have eaten has surpassed all my expectations, even the simplest of dishes are spectacular. What makes this even more amazing is that they are dog friendly too! We have already been here quite a few times and shall keep coming back. Truly wonderful.

Excellent! The treatment by the staff was amazing, especially that of the assistant manager (Daniel), who received us and attended us being very attentive and professional throughout the service. All the food was very good, the tuna, the spectacular ceviche, the truffle pasta and the meat with side fries and tomato salad. The dishes are well presented and the quantities are good. Without a doubt, we'll go back and we recommend going to this Mediterranean-style restaurant.
