Nice chill space, I actually didn’t realise there was a separate cafe/book store. It all looks pretty new and fresh. Calm vibes but a vibrant cosy space, the bar was also chill- maybe felt a bit cold just because of the cool colours. Wish there was slightly more fun drinks on the coffee menu, but my oat chai was nice and the person I was with got a latte with a cute face I’ve never seen a barista do before. Staff were all really lovely and I was excited it was a dog friendly space but not overcrowded so my 7 month of puppy wouldn’t feel too overwhelmed. She sat on my lap most of the time, she rested her paws on the edge of the table and I felt a little awkward when a staff member awkwardly asked me to make sure she didn’t touch the table. Felt a bit redundant as surely you disinfect the table after each guest and I doubt you’d tell someone with a snotty toddler not to let a child touch the table or dirty hands because you know you’re just going to clean it after. It did taint the vibe a bit and we left shortly rather then get another drink.

I'm going to rate it highly because it's a much needed queer community space & does amazing events, but unfortunately they had a no laptops rule when I went & had stopped serving hot drinks so I wasn't able to stay and do work like I'd planned. I was a bit confused because this was at 3pm on a Sunday! Just a word of warning if you were intending on doing the same :/

Interesting cocktails and even more interesting names! I had the Friend of Dorothy and it was delicious and another whiskey based one which I can't recall the name of but it was delicious too! I was there for my book event and it was a nice intimate place for it. It seems like the perfect venue for a book club.

The vibe was awesome, the staff was super friendly too! Sure, my cocktail - Bitten Peach - had Yakult in it, but I appreciate the originality and creativity!

Inclusive to its core. Cool n friendly vibe. Events ....Open to all. Monologues Tuesday through which modest yet brilliant pieces were shared by presenters. Proud venue yet welcoming.....A true community feeling. Standing loud n proud on the corner of Brick Lane. Quality but reasonably priced drinks. Bar team know how to mix a cocktail. Espresso Martini top o my list for next visit.

Such an incredibly great place!! The staff are extremely kind, the space is cozy and inviting. The most accommodating place I have been to as an autistic person with noise sensitivity, I always get asked by one specific lovely staff member if the music would be too loud for me and if they should turn it down. This always makes my day 🥰 the drinks are lovely and the selection of books is incredible!!

Gorgeous queer friendly space which serves coffee and cake with decent vegan options. Lots of unusual books too and the staff are happy to recommend some!
