Waiters with great sense of humour, a lovely convivial setting despite the boldness of the colours and decorations, extremely pleasant food choices, I’d totally bring anyone who wants ‘the English experience’ here. 🇬🇧 Must orders: - Paneer Curry —> balanced flavours with depth and mellow aftertaste. Lovely raita and chutneys for the complexity. - Cherry Trifle —> best trifle I’ve ever tasted. The balance of the jelly, custard, and sponge is delicately perfect. It is not as sweet as I thought it would be and the kick from the liqueur rounds up the dish wondrously.

Super friendly service, with short menu but all we ordered was of great quality. The mushroom salad was really tasty and the fish and chips was super scrumptious. A bit overpriced but it is expected given the location.

We very much enjoyed the outside area, it was definitely a busy Sunday roast lunch for them, so it was somewhat difficult and awkward to get an order in, having to shout over people having lunch at the bar. But the drinks were good, other than a pile of bins outside, it wasn’t too bad a spot.

Perfect roast, and the apple crumble was genuinely the best I’ve ever had. Will be back just for that. Curry was good but nothing remarkable. Fantastic service.

Holy cow. Luckily showed up here and we were blown away. Amazing service, but the food was incredible. Hit the spot for me and welcomed me home to England in style. Cheers!

Truly an amazing Sunday Roast experience. They have a great menu and serve classics, including Fish and Chips. The food is so tasty and perfectly cooked, and the portions are generous!! The atmosphere is beautiful and high end, yet comfortable. Make sure you make a reservation ahead of time, because the pub gets very busy (understandably so!).

Came here for Sunday Lunch and was very impressed with the staff. All so kind and friendly. Went out of their way to assist, got my dog water, showed him plenty of attention. The staff were attentive throughout, had a positive attitude and overall just made the visit so enjoyable. The food was divine, I usually don't like forking out for a Sunday lunch but I'm glad I did. The interiors are also stunning. A Must visit for any Londoners.

Been here twice for meals now and can vouch for the food, drinks, venue and service! Beautifully restored 19th century pub with proper restaurant quality food. Can cater to Coeliac (gluten free). Recommend the buttermilk chicken, mussels, burger, fish and chips, hispi cabbage side… good range of beers. Knowledgeable friendly staff. What’s not to love?

This place was a little fancier than the pubs we visited during our UK trip. I felt a little underdressed, but no one seemed to care and others were dressed casually. Very nice ambiance. The fish and chips here were the best we experienced. We will definitely be recommending this to others and hopefully visiting again someday. I do wish the toast that came with my mussels was actually toasted and not soft bread, but it was still good. The desserts were lovely.

A genuinely beautiful pub with excellence service. One young waitress was even measuring by eye the cutlery, napkins etc and the positioning of the table set up next to me; I was honestly very impressed. So impressed that I complimented her and thanked her personally because its not often you have someone who takes such pride in the detail. I felt like the standard was as high as a fine dining restaurant and these small details go a long way. Kudos for hiring such fantastic staff and making such wonderful food and mulled wine! (The only downside was bathroom cleanliness which can be an instant fix)
