My first Sudanese! Wow so full of flavour and wholesome -good combination of flavours across the dishes we had... Nailed the 5 senses for dinner satisfaction. The trick is to have at least 3/4 different dishes -and that way you can explore more of the menu quicker! Lovely aunty too -so friendly and welcoming.

Found this place a few weeks ago when exploring different restaurants in the area. The food is fantastic - loved the lentil stew and the white bean and spinach dish. Tried the chicken curry today and it was even better. Big mama has a real talent in the kitchen - there's nothing generic or boring here - everything has that little bit of extra flavour that makes you want to go back.

Very Friendly Mama! I bought two portions by using Too Good To Go app, so I paid about 10 pounds. I use this app for tasting a new wood. On the day, the shop was closed when I arrived... I was disappointed and called Mama. She said she left the restaurant early for some reason. She apologised to me and asked me to come back the next day, so I went to the restaurant today. Because I paid 10 pounds for the leftover food, I expected to have a considerable amount of food, about 30 pounds. Still, the amount was just a regular portion for 15 pounds. I guess Mama misunderstood that I paid only one portion (5 pounds) for Too Good To Go. However, the food was excellent. Delicious vegetable curry. The Oxtail and okra stew was tasty as well. If you like spicy food, Mama's stew and curry would not be enough for you. However, if you like vegetables and like to taste each vegetable in a stew or curry, Mama's stew would be good.

Stopped by this lovely restaurant today and bought the lamb strips cooked in Pomegranate sauce topped with sesame seeds, coconut chicken curry & yellow rice. The lamb strips were very flbvoursome, very unique taste, the coconut chicken curry was also very tasty and creamy. The portions were also very generous... if you’re looking for delicious homemade food, this small business is a 10/10 in my books, I would definitely recommend! :)
