Excellent bar located in busy Shoreditch not far from Old Street station. Very relaxed atmosphere, great to have a chat and relax. The staff were excellent and recommended some great drafts. A nifty little modern taproom amid in the heart of Shoreditch. It is a 'sister bar' to the Old Fountain, a more traditional pub on the other side of the Old Street roundabout. This place has a solid range of beers and very fair pricing; I had stuff from Orbit, Newbarns and Lost & Grounded. A friendly bartender. A small selection of cocktails and spirits. I visited on a Saturday evening (c. 8pm) and it was relatively quiet - quite a contrast to the chaotic streets of Shoreditch that night with people clearly more focused on the club side of the local nightlife. It would definitely be worth checking this place out if you are in the area.

Beer selection was varied, could do with a hazy IPA to round off the choices. Noticed that the cocktails aren't made fresh but are from pre-mixed bottles - they tasted ok but why charge full price cocktails when you're not actually making them (£8+). Barman was great and friendly, it was busy so had to wait for drinks at times. Atmosphere was fun and not serious, people taking pictures for groups and were friendly. Food didn't look the best, cheap hot dogs, but fries looked OK. Better to come here for drinks only.
