Really sorry, when the lady who doesn't speak much English takes the orders I sometimes don't have a clue what she's saying when I call on the phone. When I go down in person it's fine, but over the telephone it's very difficult to understand. Other than that the food is nice, when we have crispy seaweed we usually get rid of the brown powder on top, is it MSG? Can I ask if MSG goes in the food? Thanks

Just moved into the area and we were worried about ordering a Chinese that we didn't like as we loved our old local one so much. Home taste delivered with really fresh and hot food. The beef ho fun was incredible, everything was cooked so well. Prawn toast was so full of flavour. Lemon chicken was crispy and really good portions and the Chinese leaves was a lovely side dish and massive. The only thing we weren't sure about was the pots of sauce sauce, satay was a bit watery and curry sauce lacking flavour. I would 💯 order from here again, would just pick differently so the sauce isn't as important.

Really fresh and delicious and good quality chinese take away. Ho fun is so fresh and tasty. Good prawn toast. The Chinese leaf dish is great. Lemon chicken nice and crispy. Only thing the curry sauce wasn’t very spicy and satay also quite bland but I just wouldn’t order those again and would try other things on menu as everything else was delicious.

I go to home taste occasionally when I get home late and can't be bothered to cook. As I live 5 minutes away I don't use their delivery service. Back to the food, is my favourite Chinese take away. The food is fantastic and tasty. I occasionally ask for extra spice or when I'm ordering the Singapore style noodles for my children not too much spice and the chef always gets it spot on. Nice little family run place, who are all very friendly. Never had any problems with the quality of the food, so no hesitation to recommend.

What a gem! Never visited the takeaway and I normally order on justeat! Tried a lot of takeaway and it’s not easy to find a chinese I like...I would say their menu brought back some Chinese mama home cook memories with the garlic honey butter chicken wings! I am Cantonese btw! Great price and the food are great! I recommend you to get out of the square and try their Chef Special! I think it’s a genius menu with the combination boxes too! Ta xx
