We came here on a Saturday as we had an hour to kill between a long lunch and an evening show. We arrived around 16:30. The main door (rather than the hotel entrances) was locked but quickly opened. The place was not full when we arrived …

Lovely bar in the historic Royal Horseguards Hotel. Vara, the excellent bartender made us a classic cocktail from their cocktail menu. I had "Ride In The Evening" and my wife had "Ride In The Morning" Both were very nice. The bar is very intimate and comfortable.
A lovely venue but unfortunately the service doesn’t live up to the venue- a cocktail bar that had run out of lemons and didn’t have the ingredients to make one of its own signature cocktails !
