Wow! Exceeded my expectations! I am from Australia and tripping around the UK. My friends took me here and the food is simply exceptional, from the hand made sausage rolls with rich caramelised chutney then topped even further with cream tea (clotted cream and scone) all the cakes are amazingly handmade with such delicate love. Only down side to this lovely food is that you need to wear stretchy pants or lose a button off your jeans because it is simply irresistibly delicious you won’t want to stop! A must stop!!

A wonderful place to go for a sandwich, pot of tea and a too big slice of freshly baked cake! We were welcomed with a smile, fresh tea, and lovely cake after a long walk. The atmosphere is very warm and friendly and the food is delicious. It's our favourite tea room.

A fabulous tea room! Brought my mum for a birthday afternoon tea. The most delicious afternoon tea we have ever had. Even had to bring some home, we were so full. The birthday card for my mum was a lovely thoughtful gesture. We were made to feel so welcome and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to visiting again. Thank you xxx

A great tearoom that's well worth a visit. Serving a selection of cakes, scones, toasted sandwiches, teas, a cream tea and even afternoon tea (with booking) - a fellow visitor had the latter and it looked very generous. Service is also affable, warm and friendly. We were served loose-leaf tea in a pot for 2, with cups & saucers, accompanied by sugar cubes and a decent jug of milk. I had a cream tea - the fruit scone was warm, soft and quite delicious, accompanied with a good sized dollop of jam and clotted cream. My other half had a (big!) slice of coffee and walnut cake; this was as good an example of this sponge cake as I have ever seen. We would seek this place out again if we were in the area.

Just had lunch, fantastic toasted brie and caramelised onion chutney sandwich with salad and crisps, coffee that tasted like coffee not weak and watery, even tho stuffed had to have cake which was so light and fluffy and so many choices it was difficult to decide but the staff didn't rush us and when we couldn't eat it all put in containers to take with us. It was an awesome experience, real food, real people and a lovely atmosphere can't wait to go back.

One of the most stunning tea rooms I’ve visited. Wonderfully friendly staff, cozy ambiance and the most delicious selection of goodies! If visiting the area this is definitely worth seeking out. Can’t wait to return.

Came today and had a very nice lunch. The tearoom is very clean and spacious. A varied menu, reasonable prices. One of the few places that makes loose leaf tea and you get plenty of milk without having to ask. All the staff are very friendly and polite. Recommended

I'm never satisfied with the food or service in a pub, restaurant or cafe. I was satisfied with our cream tea at the long melford tea room. (We were going to try 'Jenny Wren's ' in Long Melford country Park but the prices were steep, especially if your chair is on dirt in front of a cargo container in the woods, and we wouldn't have minded the waiter looking like 'catweazle' if he'd have smiled, but he didn't)

Must visit place in Long Melford! What a change from the usual modern cafes, very relaxing, quirky interior and yummy food. Had toasted sandwich for breakfast as they don't do cooked english breakfast, that was best decision. Had space for cream tea too. Two ladies working there were very friendly, excepted our puppy to come in too.
