I went for lunch to Fell with one of my friends. We arrived at 12.30, as soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by a member of staff smiling who checked our booking then seated us.
The chefs were fully engrossed in cooking but not so that they didn't have time to look up and SAY hello to us.
We sat at a table for two in the window. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, light and modern.
We were given the food and drinks menu and our very well informed waiter talked us through some of the food options.
We had a main course each, this was prepared and cooked for us as we chatted.
The food was expertly presented (photo worthy) and I can honestly say the combinations all worked in harmony with each other. It was absolutely beautiful food.
Our waiter continued to be appropriately present throughout our meal.
We decided to share a side which turned out to be just right.
The desert menu has a little of everything for everyone and again was cooked to perfection.
As we dined this little restaurant began to fill up with groups and couples of all ages, the atmosphere was warm and friendly.
We left Fell feeling very grateful for such a special experience and we can't wait to go again.

Heard nothing but good things about this place so we thought we would give it a go for our 4yr anniversary.
Wow .. just wow .. what an amazing experience from the warm welcome from the friendly staff to the amazing food it was perfection.
For a light bite while waiting for the starters we had the Duck fat pittas with with fire roasted red pepper hummus which is one of the best hummus I've had.
I ordered slightly outside my comfort zone and had black pudding, crushed new potatoes, poached hens egg and mustard sauce. I'm so glad I tried something different, I was smitten at first bite.
the other half had Seabream, pickled vegetables and lobster sauce, I'm not a fish fan so I found it a bit too fishy, but he absolutely loved it said it was one of the best starters he's had.
For mains he had the confit pork belly, salt baked celeriac, apple and crackling. Every element on the plate complimented the other perfectly.
I had the corn fed chicken supreme, sweetcorn, lions mane mushrooms, and confit chicken leg parcel. The sweetcorn was in puree form and was lovely and velvety and paired with the beautifully cooked chicken with a slightly smoked flavor.
Quite simply it was heaven on a plate

The black pudding in a mustard sauce and hens egg was delicious as too is the seabass in a lobster sauce!
For main I had pork belly which fell off the fork, just wowsers with a fresh accompanied homemade sides and crackling... mmm the potatoes totally yummy.
Cheeseboard to finish with excellent selections from around the UK only the finest with lovely biscuits.

Tried the urban delivery a few times and it's excellent very glad I can experience this resturant. I mentioned I live next door as that's only reason I not been in to dine as wouldn't feel like I going out but the delivery is outstanding and will be a frequent customer

Absolutely perfect evening , food fantastic , drinks lovely and atmosphere relaxing what more can you ask for ! The table was for 5 people...yes we ordered every dessert!!!!
The food was nothing short of spectacular with great service to boot.
I am not a fan of giving full marks but my fillet steak was possibly the best I've ever had.
Also enjoyed several amaretto sours which were professionally mixed.
Can't wait to come back

10/10 from the minute we walked in. Lovely, welcoming front of house lady. The food was amazing, possibly the best Sunday roast my wife and I have eaten and being Northern we have had plenty of them. Oli & Matt were two of my favourite contestants on MasterChef professionals, so we knew we were in for a treat and their new venture did not disappoint. Hats off to the staff and other chefs at the Fell, amazing work. It was well worth the trip over from Bury, we will 100% be visiting again. Thank you to everyone at Fell Bistro for a lovely Sunday afternoon.
