I have been going to this chippy for nearly 20 years now and there is only one word for it. Exceptional. The food is always good, the staff are always very friendly and welcoming. I see them greeting customers..''Hi Bob' 'Hi Tom' Hi Becky'...lots of regulars basically. The best chippy ever. Period.

A good fish and chip shop with an eat in area round the back. Friendly staff and quick service. I took advantage of the lunchtime deal with small cod, chips, mushy peas, buttered bread and a drink which is really good value. This was really good, although the only slight negative was the fish was ok, but not quite as good as I am used to. However I live much closer to the coast and so have got used to excellent fish. I would certainly eat there again if in the area and wanted chip shop food.

Love it here. They are so friendly and even though I don't go there that regularly they remember me and what I usually order! Chips are about the best in Loughborough in my opinion and my kids always say how tasty the fish is. Brilliant!

Still the BEST fish and chips in town. I've lived in Loughborough for 15 years and none can match the Trawlers for quality and taste. The fish batter is light and crisp, the chips are always fresh and perfectly cooked, and the mushy peas are just the right consistency. The welcome from Maria and Barry is always very warm too - amazingly they seem to know the name of every customer!

Absolutely the best fish and chips in Loughborough. Haddock is the norm but you can order cod if you prefer. Their mini fish is larger and far better quality than the large fish from George's Tradition. And it's £1.50 cheaper. Huge portions all round. Lovely little back room where you can sit at a table if you prefer. Lovely welcoming couple.
