Freshly prepared tasty food which is never greasy
Great portion sizes for a lunch or evening meal and the staff are kind efficient and friendly it's well worth the 5 minutes walk out of the town centre

Been going to George’s for 5+ years and have still yet to have a bad experience. Food is always delicious, the staff are very friendly and efficient and couldn’t recommend the place more, best chippy in Loughborough!!!

I have been here a few times and at first I was a bit unhappy with the prices and the amounts of foods I was given in the portion.
But, having been there nearly everyday this week, it’s definitely nice to have quality food.
It’s good quality food, a lot of people want cheap.

I like George’s and have done since I first discovered their other branch in Beeston. Unfortunately since COVID they seem to have reduced portions and the frontage has fallen in to disrepair but the staff are always lovely and most importantly the food is lovely.

Delicious fish and chips at George’s. Just happened upon this place when we developed a flat tyre in Loughborough. Fish was fried fresh for us (always worth waiting 5 minutes for fresh frying). Fish was perfectly fresh and batter very light and crispy. Chips great. Also best mushy peas I’ve had. 5 hygiene stars. Highly recommend.
