Lovely local chippy. Hot and tasty food. They really seem to have gone from strength to strength since opening. Fish and chips are excellent. The price is reasonable. I had a large chips tonight and I thought she wasn't going to stop shovelling chips on!

Really flipping good chippy. Couple of times I've got home to find bits missing & I live 20 mins away, but the food is really very good. The curry sauce is something else... Just keep a careful eye when they're packing up.

My first experience at batter days this evening was ace. I had a large haddock times 2 also small chips, curry sauce. Mushy peas. I had to wait for the fish to be freshly prepared which was no problem. The staff are all amazing and very friendly. Had a chat about my grandma that used to own this very good chippy. They do a fantastic job of still keeping up superior standards. Very fresh fish. Nice batter. Cooked to perfection. Peas and curry have great flavour. I think the most generous portion of chips I have ever had in my life which were beaut....I wouldn't hesitate to visit again..10 out of 10
