The Kelso

Came here the second night after it had reopened. Just in time for Halloween! There's booths around to sit and chat or a dancefloor if you're thinking about going dancing. TL;DR Very accessible Clean Friendly staff Nice atmosphere 10/10 would recommend. Staff were so friendly and assisted me when I had issues with the stairs (mobility aid) and also helped me easily access the disabled toilets (wasn't knocked over by people dancing on the way there!). There are little booths set up for people who would prefer to sit down, and they had a really nice ambiance. All of the bartender's were kind and really quickly got through their orders. The bouncers were also very kind when we were waiting to come in. Managed to run into all three of the managers throughout the night, and they were consistently on top of any issues that cropped up. Any issues that were brought to their attention were IMMEDIATELY addressed! Drinks were amazing, toilets were spotless (even in the early hours before closing), and the vibes were unmatched.

We have used The Kelso for our works Christmas Party the last 2 years and it has been great. All of the staff have been really helpful, friendly and accommodating. We had The Jam Garden next door provide pizzas this year and the whole event went very smoothly. We'll definitely be back! Thanks to Danny and all of his colleagues!

I had my 21st birthday celebration at the Kelso and I was so impressed with the private service. The night went smoothly and I was allowed to decorate the private room to the American theme I wanted. The communication with staff was very impressive, with fast answers and quick quotes. The deal I was given was exceptional for the night, and I highly recommend this venue to anyone. Danny in particular was a massive help for all the things I wanted, and helped me with all the hundreds of questions I had. The room is also great for any celebration, with lots of pockets of space it worked for the larger number of guests that I had. Couldn’t recommend more and I am overall extremely happy with the staff service, price and communication.
