Really nice pub. Felt welcomed and food was reasonable. Had a meal for 2, a few pints and a bottle of wine for £60. Not bad at all these days. They had 2 main courses for £20 option. Nice atmosphere.

Love, love, love this pub. I regularly visit my cousin who lives locally and no trip is complete without a pint or two at The Rising Sun. Food is always awesome whether it’s a full meal or just bar snacks plus the staff are friendly too

What an amazing Sunday lunchtime experience. The roast was cooked to perfection. The staff were all lovely and there was a relaxed friendly atmosphere although it was really busy. We will be back.
