Lovely to walk round and see the HUGE fish in the pond. Lots of commemorative plaques to locals too.

Fantastic park! The fountain has fish in it (which kept our children entertained for ages), there is a park with a big obstacle course, a cafe , toilets and free parking. If this weren’t enough, there is also a replica Game of Thrones Iron Throne, carved from a previously condemned tree 🌳 🌲

Lovely park for a dog walk. Separate bit with a pond, fountain and bandstand in is very nice. There's a nice children's play park where dogs aren't allowed.

We have visited here quite a lot. There is something for all ages. My little boy can play in the infant park and my older teenager can go on the trim trail or exercise equipment in the big field right next to the park. There is a lovely pond with a beautiful garden surrounding it where you can sit and just relax. There is a seasonal cafe in the centre with seating outside. Highly recommend coming here for picnics, field games just spending a few hours with family.

2nd best park in the forest. Good selection of play equipment. Swings for older and younger children. Round about, 2 small slides and one very big slide. A climbing frame, loads of gym equipment dotted around the sports field. Band stand and pond which is home to many different fish, water lillies and sometimes ducks. Fruit trees and Berry bushes in the summer/autumn. Little cafe open 7 days a week offering hot and cold food, drinks and icecream. Lovely staff, very friendly with a toilet both inside and 2 toilets outside. Very good small kids play area with books and toys inside the cafe. Tennis court and table tennis table, both of which have to be paid to use. Squash court/club also available. Obstacle course is great fun too. A good way to entertain the kids for a few hours.

Beautiful park with plenty of space for the children to run around The cafe in the park serves lovely food and is a great place to meet, with or without the children.

Fragrant mock orange perfumed the area around the pond and fountain.

A lovely park and gardens, kept nice and tidy. Lots of childrens play things and adults exercise equipment. Ice creams etc available in the cafe but toilets leave a bit to be desired.

Beautiful park for small town. Well cared for flower beds, trees and shrubs. Ample play equipment and space for kids to play, lots of seating and picnic tables. Lovely pond with fountain and fish. Excellent cafe providing light lunches, snacks and drinks at reasonable prices.
