Antonio's Trattoria

Antonio's was recommended to us by friends and we weren't disappointed. Delicious food, lovely welcome from Antonio and his team and an authentic Italian atmosphere. So accommodating with what they offer - happy to make something that wasn't on the menu for a young couple with their daughter at the next table. They were fully booked for the next six days, so worth phoning in advance to reserve a table. If you love Italian food and miss visiting Italy, you can get a little taste of it in this wonderful restaurant in Lyme Regis!

Having booked in advance to ensure a dinner booking on our recent visit to Lyme Regis we were delighted by the welcome from Antonio and his staff. The evening was made all the more perfect by the superb varied menu.The meal we selected was beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Will definitely return if ever in the area again.

We turned up having no booking and had spotted the restaurant driving into the town and decided we would try our chance as see if they had a table. Regardless of how busy Antonio and his team was, they accommodated us and the service was great and very welcoming. The food was amazing, all fresh homemade recipes and didn't wait long in between courses. The restaurant itself is small, very quaint and romantic. The atmosphere was lovely and you feel like you're in Italy! Little gem in Lyme Regis and would highly recommend booking as we fell very lucky but the phone was ringing off the hook while we was there and were turning people down due to being fully booked. So if you're visiting beautiful Lyme Regis, definitely get booked in well in advance, you will not be disappointed!

We are as a family of four adults and a two year old. Antonio was welcoming, the staff well organised and very friendly. Our menu choices were without exception delicious - traditional Italian fare at its best. We all loved the local crab linguini. Our grandson was delightfully accommodated, with a small portion made available. Thank you!

Antonio is the most lovely & welcoming host. He managed to squeeze us in on a full booked evening. The atmosphere in his trattoria is perfect... soft music, lots of chatter and the most delicious smells coming from the kitchen where wife Julia home cooks all of the food. We had the crab linguine which was gorgeous. Really creamy and lovely fresh crab. Also had the Cod loin which was exquisite - the best fish my Mum has ever had in Lyme and she’s been coming to Lyme for 21years! (Why haven’t we been here before!?) We already booked again for this Saturday. We can’t wait to go back. Honestly, Antonio has the best restaurant in Lyme. It feels like your best Italian friends are cooking in their house for you. Very relaxed. We left feeling so happy, very full and a little merry. Absolute must go to... easily 5 stars!

Fantastic meal, both the food and the service was superb. The home cooked meals with locally sourced ingredients were delicious. Both the waitress and the owner were friendly and helpful. If you're visiting Lyme Regis make sure this is top of your list to visit, the yummy homemade Tiramisu is not to be missed.
