Jo ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Sunday roast was incredible, there was so much meat, a massive Yorkshire and a platter of veggies. The gravy tasted like it was made of lamb drippings and it has some mint sauce mixed it. A perfect meal! …

We have eaten twice here now and it is becoming a go to place. A little out of the way as it is at the top of the high street and around the corner. However the garden, interior, quality and value of the food and drink offerings are fabulous.

Visited today for lunch. Could have stayed all day, lovely atmosphere and great service from Alex, so much so I've come back for dinner. So many delicious food options, great price, portion size and cocktail menu. What more do you need....oh and roaring fire. Check they have that too
Marc Dutton ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Friendly welcoming staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately they had run out of the lamb shank roast option. As can be seen by the photos portions are generous. We had the Mac and Cheese bites for starter with roast beef and scampi for mains. We will be visiting again before our holiday ends.
Luke Puplett ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best value food in England, probably. We just ate a massive Sunday roast for less than £13. Prices from last decade, and it's lovely in here, with beams and cosy booths and pillars like an old ship, but it's empty! Perhaps people don't walk …

Cosy local pub which was well attended when I visited on a wet and miserable December Wednesday night. Attentive and friendly barmaid. Only one ale on, Winter Solstice which was very good. Various lagers and Neck oil etc.
