Perfect place to stay after a day of sightseeing in the New Forest

I enjoyed a one night stay here. The room was clean, well-looked after and comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly both in advance of my stay dealing with queries, and during my stay. Kelly and Dave even picked me up on the way into town, saving me a walk which I was very grateful for. When I come back to Lymington I will definitely stay here again.

Went there for a meal this evening and the food was absolutely delicious, very well priced and good portions (couldn’t eat it all). Roast dinner was one of the best I have ever had and the little play area out the back entertained my daughter while we waited. Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. Would 100% recommend and will definitely go back again 😊

Stayed for two nights for a family wedding near by, had breakfast and evening meal, the food was good quality and very nice. The rooms were clean and had everything you need. The staff were welcoming, nothing too much trouble. The pub has a nice atmosphere. Would stay again.

stayed at the NWI for 2 days recently. What great service, couldn't do enough for us, from checking in on how rooms where, when we would like breakfast, to even offering to taxi us to a nearby wedding we were attending. (breakfast was amazing!). Highly recommend.

Beautiful bright clean dining area and bar. A group of 14 went for lunch today. We were made very welcome and lovely food. Delivered hot and plated very attractively. We were all very happy and will visit again.

My first time at The New Wheel Inn and I must say I was really impressed. Inside was clean and well laid out and garden was neat. Staff really friendly and great service. Fish and Chips was one of the best I've tasted, batter crispy and well cooked. Pub advertises live music so definitely be returning.

Called at the pub for tea, went in and asked if dog friendly,yes it was. Was welcome straight away, Ordered mains steak cooked perfect for me, the wife had liver cooked just right. The staff was excellent

We found The New Wheel while walking in the New Forest near Lymington. And what a good find it was! The young lady who served us was keen to help and appeared happy in her work. As a group of four on a Saturday, we selected, two sirloin steaks, one medium and one medium-rare, one lamb shank and a salmon steak.
All arrived, together just sixteen minutes later and all dishes were absolutely perfect.
We were all so impressed that we returned for a scrumptious cooked breakfast on Sunday morning.
I can't fault anything about The New Wheel and highly recommend it for both breakfast and main meal.
