Very nice J W Lees pub serving food and offering van stopovers (if eating or drinking in pub.) I rang ahead to see if it was ok and they didn’t have a problem but it’s first come first served with the parking. The Guinness was decent and very good behind the bar. Cheers

Visited the Crown for the first time last week whilst looking after one of our sons dogs whilst they are away on holiday.
Great friendly service the minute we walked in and we decided to sit outside …
Just been in for lunch today but the food was no where near as good as it usually has been. The staff were not welcoming at all and very inattentive. Very let down!!!!
Nicely decorated — a friend took me as it was her local. The food was very good, but I had to drop a star as the card machine wasn’t working. I had to keep asking them to try again and, in the end, they used another machine and it worked. …
Visited The Crown Pub recently and had such a lovely experience. George, who was behind the bar, was absolutely fantastic – friendly, welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. He really went out of his way to make sure everyone felt looked after. Great service like that makes all the difference. Will definitely be back!
