Our cod and chips (2 for £16) was freshly cooked and was absolutely delicious. I had no objection to eating them out of a cardboard box in the restaurant as we would have eaten them that way on the beach if it wasn’t blowing a hooley outside.
I haven’t marked the restaurant for atmosphere - it’s a chippie, but it was very clean and I’d gladly go there again if I was in the vicinity.

We had take away. The haddock and chips we had was 1st class, fresh and piping hot. We've been several times and it's always the same. I highly recommend a visit 🤓💜

We had the lunchtime deal cod& chips twice £16. Really nice crispy light batter, thick fresh cod. If its just lunch who wants a massive portion? They sized it just right! Great place and best to take out there's no seating.

Freshly cooked cod and chips, under £14 for 2. They were beautiful. And finally a chippy that when when you ask for plenty of salt and vinegar they give you plenty not just a quick splash. Can honestly say these are the best we’ve tasted in a long time.

We are here for new year and just warmed ourselves up with lovely hot fish and chips. It was delicious- the fish was moist and tasty, the batter was crispy and light and the chips were really really good. Proper chips. All cooked fresh. Thanks so much we really enjoyed it, and would definitely recommend.

We came for fish and chips during our holiday and it's hands down the best fish me and my partner have ever had. The batter is so light and crispy. Not oily at all. Also really good deal on the 2x fish and chips! 1000% recommend.

Lovely fish n chips!
The place (plaice 😁) itself doesn't do the food any favours and the surroundings are not very welcoming, but all the food we ordered was one of the best around and we have chipshop take away at least once a week, so we could all tell the difference.
A large menu with lots of options and extras, and this is our 3rd order from them.
