Fantastic pub, has a really nice atmosphere and the food is top quality. Amongst our group people chose the Sunday roast, the George burger and a few side dishes and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff here are brilliant, always happy to help with a constant smile on their faces. The photo attached is just one of the Sunday roasts delivered to our table.
The pub has good parking behind it, next to a huge outdoor green space with tables so it's a perfect summertime pub. Will definitely be making more visits.

At the George, you're not a customer, you are family. Great landlords and staff who have created a warm and caring community. The food is excellent and every visit feels like coming home.

My first visit for a late lunch on Sunday with family. Really good scampi and chips with a nice pint. Would definitely recommend. Next time I hope to try mussels which looked good ( best to pre order if you want fresh as apposed to frozen). Friendly helpful staff.

Really nice friendly pub serving excellent beer and good wholesome food.
Don't expect a gastro pub - but do expect a warm welcome and good size portions of good English food.
Was a bit noisy when we visited - probably as we chose to turn up during a football match - but they still managed to find us a quiet table.
Best pub in Yalding by some distance.

Great music venue, have played there many times in The Mystery Machine. Friendly atmosphere, food looks great, nice outside space for smokers/vapers and an adjacent garden, parking to the rear. Oh, and they sell my favourite Cornish beer, Doombar. 😀. What more do you want?
