We had soft drinks, mains, dessert and coffee. I personally had the Lasagne which was lovely and meaty, the best I've ever had outside of making it myself. And the base on the Cheesecake, which I had plain as not a fruit fan, was the best ever. As for the staff, absolutely fantastic. Well done everyone ❤️

wow I lived in Maldon for years, how did I not go here? fantastic food and hospitality perfect, I had tandoori chicken sizzler with drunken fruit for pud my Auntie had Salmon with lobster and prawn sauce new pots and veg , our friends had liver& bacon suet pud with mash and veg , we will definitely be back thanks for a fab experience 🥰

The food is out of this world delicious (especially the steak and ale pie), the service is exceptional and friendly, the setting and atmosphere is superb. And all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

This was my first visit to the pub, but it won't be my last.
The staff were friendly and the service was excellent.
I was pleasantly surprised by the decor and plush furnishings in the dining area, and the food was superb.
Although it was a Monday evening, it was very busy. It's obviously a popular pub, and I can easily see why.
I'd highly recommend a visit.
