Good cafe and very reasonably priced I use here when I go for a ride to maldon on the bike.

Food is always delicious, you must try the sausage and chips, they are fabulous. Service is great, the owner always makes time for a bit of banter, licensed for alcohol so great competition for Wetherspoons.

Very nice clean cafe. Very friendly service. Reasonable prices by todays standards.
The breakfast was very good and there was more on the plate than I could eat.

Absolutely love this place, food is perfectly cooked, waitress & manager very friendly. They even recognised us from a previous visit about 5 months ago. Recommend this cafe highly. Great menu & reasonably priced.

If you want a good meal at a good price then give the Crystal Cafe a go.
Don't let the basic set-up put you off.
There might be nothing fancy, but it's a clean, simple cafe with quick service, friendly staff and a good menu.

Me and my family were visiting from Southend, and were looking for somewhere to eat. The café looked welcoming with a great menu. Unfortunately we didn't realise they were closing, the owner of the café welcomed us in, we asked if they were closing and he did not mind serving us, nothing was too much, or a problem. We instantly felt welcomed and did not feel pressured at all. Very friendly, good prices, great sizes and scrumptious food. I cannot fault the service at all or food. Thank you ever so much, we all left with full stomach's. Thank you for a great visit.
