Visited today with son and his family, grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed the soft play and role play areas. Parents and grandparents thoroughly enjoyed them enjoying the play areas, under all our supervision, and all of us enjoyed the variety of freshly cooked food on offer. Very warm welcome on arrival with clear advice on facilities and responsibilities. Thank you to all staff for the lovely service, food, drinks and a relaxing and enjoyable few hours. Recommend pre-booking for the food. We look forward to next time!

The little ones love this place. Good for a few hours in a rainy day. Food is priced okay.

Cheap and fun kids play. Think it was about £3 for my 1 year old. The girls in here are really friendly and there’s plenty to keep kids busy for hours and hours. Just what we were looking for to stop at on our journey home

Great for young children. An area downstairs for toddlers.
Food available , bus time you will need to book.

Absolutely love captain barney's. All the staff are amazing and so welcoming.
We've attended many events there and my kids always have an amazing time. Having both indoor and outdoor play areas gives the kids lots of opportunity to play and use their imaginations.
Highly recommended!

Great children's play centre, yes its small but that's why I like it.....it does not boom with noise like the big industrial play barns. I can sit and do a bit of work as my child plays. Good range of food, inc superb home made gluten free and vegan cakes. The place is clean and staff friendly.

This is a small soft play center, big enough to let your little one have some fun!
Some improvements have been made over the last year, with the inclusion of a lower level play area.
However making the seating area a little more comfortable for the grown ups might make people stay longer
Eg: some music or a TV on the wall could make a world of difference to the grown ups too

A lovely little place to visit. It is small in comparison to your usual play centre but that makes it perfect for smaller children. I would recommend it for children under 8.
