First time visit, it was so nice to be greeted by Genuine Italian staff, unhurried clean decore, well presented foods.
Highly recommend, would return.
Hope they do Italian Lessons to !.
Lovely Italian in the centre of Manchester, truly bringing home cooking to the masses. The food is hearty and tasty and the place doesn't believe in sending a customer home hungry. Pasta and pizza aplenty the only think to note is portion size. It's great for families and cheese lovers (with rich tomato sauce). If you're missing Italy the atmosphere and food will take you back. Staff are friendly though some are more experienced than others.
A contemporary nice place to grab lunch. The staff are professionally attentive and do so with a smile. The quality of food is quite excellent and the desserts even better. The cost for the main we ordered was £10 & £13, quite average cost for the quality, but quality of taste is high. Drinks consist of lager, wine, cocktails and soft drinks, cost averages around £8, so again, about average for Manchester. Really quite a lovely place to eat out and enjoy fresh air, while experiencing your meal.
We had a lovely meal here yesterday.the staff were so accommodating and friendly. The restaurant is so authentically Italian, and the food was superb. Best Italian in Manchester by far. Highly recommended.
Fantastic, real Italian food and flavours. Great pasta, pizza, and tiramisu. Kind and caring staff too. We ordered a pizza Calzone to share amongst two, and they had the great detail of making two small and delicious Calzones instead. Just great.
Absolutely Delicious and Amazing! Popped in there on Saturday evening, 20 July 2019.. on arrival they asked if we had made a reservation of which we hadn't. They made a plan and found us a space. To sum it up... SERVICE: EXCELLENT FOOD: EXCELLENT ATMOSPHERE: EXCELLENT PRICE: EXCELLENT EVERYTHING EXCELLENT.
Fantastic meal . Cosy friendly atmosphere and staff very polite and accomodating. I had scallops for starter which were divine, then seafood ravioli with lobster sauce also really good . Then a complimentary meloncello .Will definately come here again .
As good Italian, I always look at the quality and provenance of the products and i can tell Salvi's home to me. The real taste of Italian salami/mozzarella and all the beautiful trimming your food will come with. If you are looking for a genuine and real italian experience please come here. Of course cannoli dessert is also for takeaway, so never leave without taking one home.
This is the best sharing board in Manchester.
The staff are friendly and attentive, the food delicious and fresh. You can see in the kitchen , it's immaculate. This place has a great atmosphere, you feel like family.
Really find it difficult to fault this small and cosy Italian in the centre of the city so much so that I have been 3 times this month alone. It's a regular choice of mine both for an intimate meal or entertaining others. The service is great and the staff will to their upmost to accommodate every request. Photo is the Risotto Di Mare which is always full of seafood, absolutely delicious and hard to choose against on the menu, however I would also recommend any of the made fresh to order pizzas or the tuna steak.
