A great little find
We found this restaurant by accident and what a find, excellent food and service. The pizza was fantastic. The olives and mozzarella we had to start were delicious. We will definitely come back

I had a good dinner here when I visited for business in April 2018. It was just me and I was able to get a seat by the window without a reservation. The food was simple fares but very good. I had the caprese to start and grilled prawns for the main. Overall it was very good. I appreciated that a lot of the other diners were Italians. There was also a lack of pretentiousness here that I liked compared to some of the other haughty places I've tried. I would recommend Salvi's for a quick, authentic, everyday type Italian meal.
I invited 6 of my colleagues for dinner in Salvi's Manchester. The food was amazingly tasty ranging steak, pizza to more delicate Italian food. The staff were very friendly. Tiramisu was awsome!
Once you enter it seems you are immediately swept to the kind of place that you might expect to see in any number of cities across Italy or America, perhaps in London but not so much in our fair town. Lots of vibrancy and bustle within a relatively small space. First you’re greeted by a rack of store cupboard goods on your right and smacked by colours and aromas from the deli counter in front of you. Then comes the welcome from the staff themselves which is friendly and inviting.

You go down a flight of stairs and it is like going through a portal to Italy. There is the family business vibe; the open kitchen with the oven just sitting there perfecting the pizzas and calzonis; the casual Italian you hear only among insiders; and then comes the food. It hits you with all the flavor: from the just-so-right ripened tomato; the all-you-can-wish-for garlic; and the bless-that-cow cheese. Everything was superb.

Amazing food and service! Nicola was on top and always prompt and attempt to any details.. we had a delicious Linguine with seafood.. the taste of the seafood was 100%. Nicola made us feel like we were in Italy !!! I really recommend this place if you like typical Italian food and typical Italian service.

Best place in Manchester!! The service was warm and welcoming , they were so helpful especially due to the fact that I was here for a long weekend! The pizza was the best i have tasted outside of italy! I couldn't recommend it more !!!!
I believe one of the best Italian restaurants in Manchester especially for pizza and pasta. If you are in city center, this restaurant will be good choice to try their cuisine and give your feedback. The staff are very friendly and cooperative
me and my boyfriend come here every couple of days for usually just a coke and snack and have had an amazing experience every time. the guy that serves us every time goes above and beyond every time we come (he even dried our seats with a paper towel outside because it had just rained) couldn’t recommend enough - this is now officially our local 😊
it’s also an amazing place for people watching/ just relaxing after a stressful day. 5 stars from us 😄
We would give this place 6 stars if we could. Came in last month and my Italian boyfriend was very impressed 😍 portion sizes are so good and the food is to die for - get the pasta with pistachio pesto and thank us later. Service was top notch too, lovely staff! We’ll be back! 🥰
I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at this Italian restaurant, thanks to Salvatore! He is hands down the best I've ever had. His kindness and attention to detail made our meal truly special. Salvatore's recommendations were spot-on, and his warm demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere. Once of the (if not the) most authentic Italians in Manchester. Food is very fresh, tasty and done just like Nonna would make!
My only issue is that it is slightly overpriced for the types of dishes and the type of service. I would recommend it however I think other places do just as good dishes for a better price.
First time eating here today. Has a great outside area that catches the sun, if you feel it's too cold to eat outside then there is inside space downstairs.
The service and the food were excellent. If you are in Manchester l can recommend you pay this place a visit
