It was my first time to try Syria Sweets! The shop is not located on the main road but I accidentally found it! I watched from the gate for a long time because I knew nothing about these sweets but finally I was attracted by the friendly atmosphere! When the customer assistant knew it was the first time I came here, he gave me sweets to try! Thank u so much ！I just picked up three kinds of sweets these three are all awesome！ sweet cheese is my favourite！ I have shared this shop with my other friends！

Visiting Manchester from London and randomly came upon this sweet shop. These are authentic Syrian sweets, typical of the levant. I purchased 1/2 a kilo of mixed Bakalava. It was absolutely delicious and fresh. Staff are helpful and friendly. They even gave us some tasters for free. I would highly recommend !! You will not be disappointed!

Syria Sweets supplied us with this wonderful selection of baklava for our baklava table we set up at a family wedding. Mahmoud packed everything for us just as requested and was a great help when serving us! The baklava went down a treat and was a really special way to finish off the wedding meal!

Best ever baklava! Ok so let me talk about the staff! They heard that we never tried syrian sweets and they just basically stuffed us with loads of free snacks! My family said that this is the best baklava they ever had! Not too sweet not too crunchy! Just perfect! A little cloud of flavor! Now that i am writing this and thinking about the amazing sweets, I will definitely be stopping by tomorrow lol Also yes we only got one to take home bcs the rest we ate on our way out XD

A stop to rusholme isn't complete without calling by here for some of their freshly made authentic Syrian cakes. Always very friendly , and great value.

Literally the best. Worth travelling for tasty baklava. Friendly staff and lots of variety. Couldn't recommend more. Visited from a recommendation but always come when near to Manchester.
