Sat and had a pint and then moved onto cocktails. Great variety and really well made. Had 2 platters which we shared and both were good.
Nice place to chill take a cocktail, the food is good however it's not the place to get a big hearty stake meal, it's more of a light snack kinda meal. I wish the terrace had a ton more lighting, it was quite dark sitting outside. Overall good place to get a drink even if that’s just a cup of coffee.
We hired out the events space at Proof for my 30th birthday celebrations and had a fab night! Having the outdoor space as well as some room indoors was great. The staff were lovely and let my friends go early to put decorations up (they also took them down for us the next day, which was a big help). We were able to play our own Spotify playlists from behind the bar and even created our own little dance floor. I ordered some 'picky food' from the small plates menu for everyone, which I thought was reasonably priced per head and everyone raved about how tasty it was. They even adapted the nachos for me so that everything was vegan :) I think about 30 people was perfect - any more would've been a bit cramped. But a brill night all round, thank you!
I would just like to say a big thank you to the team at Proof bar. We as a group booked the rear area for our Christmas night out in Proof. this can be difficult as we have a large group of close to 20, which can be challenging to many places, especially a cocktail bar, but our waiter and waitress, Tyler and Nadia were flawless in their service to us. Every cocktail, and we had a lot, constantly flowed, and were of top quality, very professional from the bar tender Brian, and huge thanks to Katy for overseeing us and making sure we were all happy and looked after. Massive thank you to you all, hope you all have a great Christmas, we'll see you next year! 10/10

I booked Proof for my partner's 30th birthday party. I booked it with Katie who was fab to deal with and really helpful. We booked the raised section of the main bar for about 20 people. We pre-booked food which their staff served up in and amongst our guests twice during the evening. (We also ended up getting a few extra bar snacks as we were setting up as well as they are so well priced and yummy!) There were padron peppers, nachos, fries, breads, dips, olives (and maybe more - can't quite remember) and the guests all loved it. Suited us much better than a straight up buffet as we had different people floating in and out through the night. The cocktails were awesome and our guests all really enjoyed their drinks. We really enjoyed ourselves and they really looked after us and cut up and served the birthday cake that we brought with us. The service was top notch, could not recommend it enough. Naughty smokers can all go outside with their drinks undercover and in the heat as well which was useful for half of our gang! Thanks so much to Katie, their fabulous chef and the waiting staff for making Zane's night go off without a hitch!
We hired out the "Secret Garden" for my birthday and had such a fun evening. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well managed. Carly was fantastic in helping me plan the event, including discussing options for our very own bar and bartender, choosing food from the numerous options available, allowing us to bring our own music if we wanted, bringing our decorations early before the event, as well as a cake without a 'cakeage' charge. On the night, we were really looked after by Katie and the amazing team, they were lovely. The food was so tasty (particularly the nachos and fries) and Pete whipped us up some brilliant cocktails. My friends had such a good night that a number of them are planning to have their birthday there!

Great service! The drinks were averagely priced and super tasty. The atmosphere of the place was very chilled out and easy to have a chat in.
Always a great night in proof. Cocktails are amazing and prices are good. Staff are very welcome.
New menu is great, vegetarian focused but choice available, all good value. Drinks and staff fantastic as always.
