Loved the coffee here! Had a lovely latte and we also had cakes which were like nothing else. Would recommend the salted caramel brownie. The place has a brilliant atmosphere- definitely a ‘hipster hangout’! Absolutely loved it
Great coffee, up there with the best in Manchester. Surrounded by other great places to eat/drink in Hatch. Like the location and the layout.
Nice little find at the back of northern quarter. Ordered a macchiato and some scrambled eggs on toast. All fresh and well seasoned. Can't go wrong with this place. Very relaxed atmosphere and seems popular for morning commuters after their caffeine fix.

Good coffee, I usually get one of the filter coffees. The staff are nice. I haven't tried any of the meals but the cakes are ok. Mainly the coffee is good.
Takk is one of The gems of the Manchester coffee scene. Tucked away in northern quarter, this coffee lovers haven is a little off the beaten track so is usually a great place if you don't fancy the hustle and bustle of Market Street. The staff obviously take great pride in what they do and I've never had a flat white here that didn't meet the high standards that I've become used to from artisan coffee. The only reason it doesn't get 5/5 is because I feel the tables are too close together so you can end up sat very close to other customers 😁
Best coffee in the city ... and the food is really tasty and pretty good value. I had the welsh rarebit which was really tasted and made with First chop brewing arm - my favourite brewery so was pretty much in heaven. Also try some of the filter coffees from the barn - I had an excellent single origin Kenyan. Really nice. Will definitely be back. Good place to work too!
Takk, an Icelandic inspired coffee shop tucked away on a quiet side street 2 minutes’ walk from Piccadilly Gardens is about as cool as it gets in Manchester. The coffee here is serious business
Best coffee of 2023 so far... and it will take some beating! Also, first coffee outside of the year too... so loads of first place medals 😂 what an amazing coffee house. I mean Manchester has some GREAT places, but this is top of the list so far. So good we went two days in a row!!
This has been on my list for a long time now and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve been back twice already now for the scrambled eggs on sourdough which are some of the best I’ve had and the beans! THE BEANS!!! mouthwatering! The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are fantastic. It’s an easy 5 star from me and I can’t wait to go back and try some more from the menu! Oh and the Jasmine tea is stunning and very relaxing!
Great coffee, food and service. Ordering system is super convenient. Cheesecake was amazing and so was the brunch.

This is a cool little hidden spot on the edge of Northern Quarter, that is definitely worth a visit!
Nice chilled vibe inside, with really.friendly staff and an even cooler playlist to match. I didn't try any of the food here but I've also heard good things about the lunches and the pastries etc.
I had a cappuccino that was just right, hit the spot. I'll be coming back definitely.
A very nice brew... The menu and pastry looks nice too, will try it next time.

Serve great coffee as always, love their French toast but we get in a bit late today and only realize the kitchen closed at 3pm. So, for those who would like to try the food here bare in mind of the kitchen serving time.
Had the dukkha mushrooms and they were truly amazing. Scrambled eggs also perfectly seasoned, coffee was delicious. Closest to a real long black I’d had in the UK. Highly recommend.
We just had a coffee, it was delicious (Honduras, washed). They didn't have any other kind though, that was disappointing. The place is nice, clean and quiet. Staff friendly, free wifi, electricity outlets. Definitely recommended. Haven't try the food though.
Been coming here almost every week for years and always love the atmosphere and staff here. Special shout out to Nikos who makes you feel at home!
