We have been meaning to dine here for a while and eventually went on Saturday. What a fantastic experience. The food was amazingly flavourful, beautifully presented and generous portions. Our waiter was attentive without being overly so and was knowledgeable about the dishes. Two starters and mains, £27. Already planning our next trip.
1st time at Samir's and definitely won't be the last. What a taste explosion! Proper authentic Syrian cuisine, the Hummus is absolutely mandatory, so smooth and delicious! Can't wait to return!
The staff are really friendly and the food was great, really authentic. The portions are also quite generous, especially for the starters. Prices are reasonable. Decor is quite basic however, there are limited vegetarian options and no seafood at all. There is also no children's menu.
We had some really lovely food and would definitely come back again. The falafels were the best we've ever had and nothing served was greasy so felt very fresh and healthy. It felt like a very welcoming family restaurant with just amazing comfort food. We can really recommend
What a lovely place. I've been meaning to come here for a few months and tonight was an impromptu visit. I couldn't be more happy with my evening. Lovely food, good selection of wine, nice atmosphere and the price is very reasonable.
Also, as a side note, I felt the vegetarian options were just as carefully thought out as the meat options. Sometimes i go places and it feels like the vegetarian option is an obligatory one, not this place.
A fully thought out menu to cater for all.

I went to this place with my partner having driven past it twice a day on my way to and back from work and thought that it looked like a great place to sit down for a nice meal on a Saturday evening.
Greeted by friendly staff at the door we were sat in possibly the warmest (in the best way possible) restaurant I have been too in Manchester for a while. Great selection of beers for me and the simple selection of soft drinks for her.
For our starter we had the sweet chili chicken to share which was sticky, hot and sweet all in one, the exact way it’s meant to be. The chicken itself was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Perfection.
For mains we both had the basic buttermilk chicken burger with fries. Again, this was up there with the best chicken burgers Iv had in this city and the waiter asked if we wanted to try a ghost chili sauce to go with it, I agreed and did not look back.
10/10 experience for us both and we will be going back.
Really good new Mediterranean cuisine restaurant at 1116 Chester Road, enjoyed a variety of vegetarian dishes all were really tasty and good value for money. Take your own bottle too, always an added bonus! Staff were really friendly and the chef also came to ask if everything was ok!
Fantastic early tea tonight with the hubby and toddler. Food was super tasty, juicy chicken, spicy fries and you must try the cauliflower bites! Cant praise the staff enough. Such a warm, friendly and attentive crew (great music too). We are organising a baby sitter so we can go back and enjoy the live music one sat night. great to have such a gem on our doorstep. Keep up the smiles and great chicken.
The food tonight was fantastic, better than any chain middle Eastern restaurants. Portions were generous but not over the top with a rustic home style to it. Prices were fair and service was excellent. Well be returning for certain.

An excellent little independent restaurant with excellent, friendly service.
Extremely good value for money. £9 for two courses or £11 for three. It's a set menu with a couple of options for each course, one of which is at least veggie. The menu changes every few days.
The food is great.
