It was our first time we visited Manchester together and we visited China Town and walked past this restaurant after a guy said to us politely would you like a table for two but we polity turned it down and we went to look for other options however everywhere was fully booked. So we decided to go back here and see what it will be like. So we had a table given to us and it was quite busy but didn't affect us in anyway but we waited quiet a long time to be given our food. we both have a lot of patience when it comes to great food so we didn't have any complaints when the food arrived and when we tasted the food. It was delicious. We will be back again for sure!!!!! A lot of respect for this place! 👏 Thank you for your pleasant service and food!

We had an awesome experience dining here at The New Emperor Restaurant Manchester! The owner was kind enough to offer us special package at a very affordable price so we can try a lot on their menu. What we had was at the photo, plus a platter of their fried chicken which I must say is superb!

Had a wonderful meal here with my family after attending the Christmas markets closeby. Sat me and my partner and 3 children down in a good table and was child friendly the staff were great with us all. (they had a baby changing station which was helpful and toilets were very clean) Had many dishes, but my favourite we had were the barbeque ribs and salt and pepper ribs they were delicious. It is a shame that the restaurant was very quiet but we will be back again thank you the new emperor!

Stumbled by here whilst looking for somewhere else for lunch. Meal off was 2 courses for 6 pounds which included rice. We also got the special chow mein which came in a massive bowl, couldn't believe how much we got. The food was hot, tasty and really felt authentic. Pricing was very reasonable and worth every penny. Staff were so nice aswell. Brilliant family run restaurant and we would return!

Really yummy lunch for two. The £6 lunch option is a really treasure if you're on a budget but still want to enjoy good food. We opted for that and paired it with a delicious beef chow mein - full of tender meat, cabbage and tasty Noodles. Very good. Interesting atmosphere. Absolutely memorable host!

Wow! Like....wow!! I can honestly say I have never eaten a tastier Chinese and the service was incredible! We went in for the first time this evening and we were so very warmly welcomed and well looked after. The food was incredible!! I had never tried some dishes before and oh my goodness, amazing!!! Will absolutely be returning in the future! This place is a MUST if you are looking for authentic, fresh, delicious food and a warm welcoming environment 🙂

Great quality food, amazing value and friendly staff! We ate here for the first time today and are very glad we've found this place. They had an offer on where 2 people can eat from a set menu for the price of 1 - so we enjoyed soups, a duck dish, a scallop & king prawn dish and more for a bargain price. I cannot fault any of the food, we left full and very satisfied. The staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and chatty. They also allow you to bring your own alcohol with no corkage charge.
