Peppers

We ordered from peppers through just eat, it was our first time trying this place, the food arrived within half an hour and the delivery lady was really pleasant. The food was really nice it was fresh and hot, I had the mutton and rice with peas and a dumpling the meat was so nice and tender and full of flavour the rice and peas was lovely and the dumpling was nice and crispy. My daughter had jerk chicken and said it was delicious really juicy and full of flavour, I highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t before I will definitely be ordering again soon and can’t wait to try the other food on their menu. Could be my new favourite take away 👍

I only gave this a 5 star rating bcs the food turned out to be really nice. The rice & pea was perfectly cooked, the gravy, the chicken; finger licking & perfect for my taste buds. To be honest, i was initially skeptical but because i was so famished and wanted some tasteful meal close to African, i had a quick stop at the Carribbean restaurant -PEPPERS (i just looked up the name on google). The man who attended to me should be in his mid/late 40s or above and could have treated me better. Walked upto the counter, clueless, looking around to see a menu bcs it was my 1st time there. He was sitted & looked so reluctant to attend to me bcs he was on a call. He asked what i wanted while still seated, looking not so friendly and i told him it was my 1st time there & i had no clue what more they offer apart from the few pastries displayed. Still seated, he responded in creole/patoi/other accent which wasn't easy for me to understand. With the intent of humor, had to harmlessly tell him to just give me anything and his response with a straight face was "We don't sell anything here" and he asked for the size and just went for Large. Then i had to pay & he said he only does cash & not card transactions incase of next time which at that point i doubted if there was gonna be a next time. But with the great quality of the food, i could have a rethink to visit again if there'd be someone else there or the same man has chosen to be more friendly with customers.

Astounded to see some of the negative reviews on here, clearly too many people used to mc Donald's delivery than real food, who orders a cheeseburger from a Jamaican restaurant.... says it all. Absolutely amazing food, best curry goat around and spice... hottest jerk chicken I've ever had. To say this is a jamaican restaurant the service is brilliant compared to many I've tried, staff always happy to help accommodate any needs and portion sizes are extremely generous.

This is the best takeaway meal I have had in Manchester. We ordered red snapper with rice 'n' peas and a veg side: delectable. Also ordered a fried chicken thigh and fried dumpling which we shared between two: succulent and flavoursome. The lady who served us was incredible polite, and gently spoken with a lovely smile. The lady in the background deserves to win a medal for her culinary tastes of perfection. The elderly gentleman was also sweet and charming. What a BRILLIANT takeway. HIGHLY recommended.
