Cafe La Reine

I hadn't been here for years, because I remember the atmosphere being great, the staff being friendly, but the coffee was just good. My husband and I go to all the local coffee shops (rather than Dunks or Buckarinos) and we have a few favorites that we go to every week. We both sort of wrote this place off. However, when I went there today, I was super impressed with the friendly and welcoming staff (some local places have amazing coffee, but the staff are kind of cold) and my iced latte was absolutely delicious. I'm definitely going to recommend that we add this to the rotation of our local favorite spots!

Been here a few times over the course of a few years, and sad to see the food menu slimming and mundane. Also, the pourover is not with single origin, which seems to defeat the purpose for me. After a strong start, looks like this place us conforming to area median standards but keeping specialty prices. Not sure why I would come here anymore with other area options.

We went here for a mid-afternoon snack and smoothie and were very happy! The staff were super friendly and the space is cute. Ended up playing a game of chess over our avocado toast, I don’t carrot all (hummus, carrots, your choice of pita or corn chips), and a berry smoothie. That smoothie was a sorbet coming out 😂 overall had a great time!
